Tri (v1.0) About: ===== This is Tri, a game made within (less than) 48 hours for the Ludum Dare Compo #20 (theme was "It’s Dangerous to go Alone! Take this!", a quote from the very first Zelda game). In Tri, you are able to create force fields in the form of triangles. The "this" in "Take this!" in my case is the device which makes it possible to place these force fields. You can use them as platforms, shields and mirrors. Controls: ======== WASD + Mouse: Move Space: Jump Left Mouse Button: Shoot Force Field Generator Sphere 1, 2, 3: switch between the three Force Field Generator Spheres Mouse Wheel: the same Right Mouse Button: make the current Force Field Triangle permanent (if possible) E: remove focused Force Field Triangle Maker: ===== Friedrich Hanisch made this. Perhaps you want to visit his online portfolio: www.fholio.de Tools & Stuff: ============= I used Unity3D 3.3 Pro as the 3D game engine, code was written in MonoDevelop. Sounds were made with Bfxr (www.bfxr.net). Graphics were done in Photoshop Elements 9 and 3dsmax 2012 Trial Version. I unfortunately had to download the "FPSWalkerEnhanced" script from Eric Haines (www.unifycommunity.com/wiki/index.php?title=FPSWalkerEnhanced). This was necessary because the built-in FPS controller from Unity3D has a severe bug with slopes - but the functionality is mostly the same. Other than that, I downloaded the pixelfonts 04b10, 04b25 and Homespun BRK from www.myfont.de. Music was done in 25 minutes or so with Inudge (www.inudge.net, recorded with Audacity) and without any knowledge about music and stuff . I would have tried it again, but it's 20 minutes before deadline. :( Press "M" to make the pain go away. Thanks & Greets: =============== My girlfriend Jana. Matthias|6S and all the others on #gamedev.ger (euirc.net). All the other participants of the Ludum Dare. Copyright: ========= 2011 (c) Friedrich Hanisch, Halle (Saale) Germany
